I think he meant in reference to downplaying KCs schedule. And on that front hes right but there are plenty of other discussions on the Broncos boards about how bad the Chiefs schedule has been. To be fair some of the guys mention that Denvers hasnt been much tougher but its sort of glossed over by most of the Broncos fans. Not a big deal. The Chiefs schedule has sucked but you can only win the games you are scheduled to play and its false logic to assume they wont be able to play good D and efficient O against good team just becuase they havent played one yet.

This isnt the only thread involving the Chiefs on this site man. Ive read some of them and the schedule is the biggest reason given for KC's success by most Bronco fans. You know it and I know it. As a Broncos fan Im sure youve read plenty of the comments.

Im already on record saying Dnever is the best team in the NFL so why would I bet on KC?? LOL. My posts are neither uniformed or unitelligent. THey are actually quite the opposite. You just dont agree and thats cool. You can give me stats saying one thing and when I give you stats saying another ( opposing your view ) you say thats taunting. Its not. Its called debate. Thats the entire premise of a sports message board. To debate topics. If you want to stay away from debate then stay away from it. As an FYI 4 of the first 7 posts in the " Just how good are the Chiefs" thread on the Broncos board mention KCs schedule as one of the primary reasons they are unbeaten.

Also Kwit you are on record saying that KC is a " much lessor team than Denver" and " It would take a MAJOR collapse" for the Broncos to lose to KC. Im just saying there is no possible way to reach that conclusion unless you are looking at it through the eyes of a Broncos fan ( which you are ). KC has a MUCH better defense, Denver has a MUCH better offense. Now statistically speaking KC's offense is better than Denvers defense so the STATS would tend to suggest KC is the better team. The eyeball test tells me differently but you cant make blanket statements about KC needing basically a miracle to beat Denver and have anyone take you seriously. Especially when you get upset when someone disgrees.

That eleven of eighteen teams that started 9-0 made the Super Bowl does not mean that the Chiefs have a 61% chance of making the Super Bowl. I think you have to look at each NFL season by itself. Sure it helps that they are 9-0 because they have the inside track to homefield advantage and a bye week in the first round of the playoffs, which is huge in boosting a team's chances to make the Super Bowl. However, the Chiefs haven't even played the Broncos yet. I will feel a lot more confident about the Chiefs making the Super Bowl if they beat the Broncos in one of their regular season matchups. If they beat them in both, I will feel really confident.

Reid gave the players 1 week off...Reid coming off a bye-week is around 12-1....thats the only hope the Chiefs have against Denver, hate to say it.

I'm pretty sure that Bronco fans have every right to start any threads they choose on the Bronco's board..but none of them came to the general board trying to stir up shit...its you that did that...thats my point in this entire situation...tell ya what...I tried to tell you this before, the teams play each other in two weeks..I'm pretty sure we will all see for ourselves how that turns out.

There are a plethora of matchups with the KC D vs. the Den O that I am highly interested in seeing, particularly the secondary vs. the Denver receivers. If the pass rush doesn't come home with 4 guys or less (assuming Denver doesn't exactly go max protection) then it is probably a moot matchup as Manning will throw the receiver open. Which leads to another matchup, KC's passrush vs. Den's Pass blocking and Manning's pass release. The truth is that we really don't know what is going to happen week 11 and 13.

Of course the media questions them as they would any team that starts 9-0 the year after going 2-14. Its natural to be specualtive about a team that was abysmal the year before all of the sudden turning it around big time. I mean there was rampant speculation on the Red Sox this year too after their terrible performance last year and we see how that turned out. I think where we diverge in thought is that you seem to believe that the mere specualtion on KC is somehow an indicator that they arent for real. I too am not completely sold on the Chiefs ( which is why I still think Denver is better) I am however open to the possibility that KC is legit and a real threat. When you ( or anyone ) calls that uninformed and unitelligent I cannot disagree more. At some point when a team is 9-0 you have to at least CONSIDER that they may actually just be pretty fucking good dont you???
