the MLBPA is supporting MLB not the violating players
They're making shit up as they go and they're setting themselves up for some major lawsuits.
I believe you have something hereyes they are making it up as they go
does anyone think it's because they really want to nail Arod...that's my suspicion
since when does an appeal mean you're guaranteed more time? I could be totally wrong, but I think they're pulling that card because of Arod

It was always about Braun and A-Rod from the start.
it's about cleaning up the game. The players themselves want the cheaters weeded out. It's much more than Arod & Braun. I actually think there are more that want to preserve the great game of baseball. It took a long time but I think baseball wants the game clean from PED's much more than just getting ARod.
I know I sure don't want the Yankees to get off from paying this clown and avoid the huge 50 something tax only to refuel and go after the top free agents. Buck had it right.
Selig sure didn't have a problem turning a blind eye to the rampant PED use in the 90's when he needed to get people interested again when McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds were putting up video game numbers. He's a hypocritical asshole and baseball will only get better once he is no longer the commissioner.

nobody is defending what happened in the 90's, only that the baseball players themselves want this cleaned up. The people that care about the game and that is much more than Selig are pushing this.....and it's much more than just ARod

the end justifies the means if the game gets clean.
I really think the players that do it right are driving this bus
That's dangerous thinking sir.
A witch hunt with testimony and "evidence" from some jerk off trying to save his own ass is not the way to do that.
If the majority of players really did, they would have their union negotiate real PED testing that would actually reduce their use.
MLB is extremely lucky to have tertiary evidence with Biogenesis because their own testing didn't cut it, obviously. Only 2 guys from the Biogenesis group popped positive on MLB PED tests, and 1 of them used his union to contest it....SUCCESSFULLY. That right there shows that it's a joke of a testing system.
how do you suggest they do it then? the dealers, and that's what the jerkoff was, have taught the players how to mask their usage and the only way to catch them is to hope 1 of them screws up like Braun did and even then he got away with it. or hope their dealer/clinic screws up and gets caught.
