I think Rosen was fine where he was drafted, but if the draft was re-done today I still think he is the 4th QB taken....

Baker is the #1 rookie by a wide margin.....Darnold and Allen 2 and 3, and Rosen 4.....all though Jackson might even be close to Rosen.

Rosen just needs time. I liked him as a prospect and he will be good eventually. I gotta say though- I am glad the Browns took Baker.
Baker has been great. He is by far number 1. I think Darnold, Allen and Rosen have all been the same. In fact, Rosen has been the only one staying healthy and he has been pummeled more than every other Rookie QB. He was supposed to be the fragile one.

When you combine the worst 0-line, an entirely new coaching staff which has been horrific with a rookie QB, he has no shot.

The Browns did the right thing by getting rid of the HC and OC. Cards should have done the same because it is 100% evident, the team has quit on Wilkes.

Lol @ the idea of loyalty in pro sports. That concept has been dead for decades now and there's no sense in people getting rustled over it. I always get a good laugh out of idiots who burn their jerseys they paid for of some player who leaves town (including to "rival" teams) as if the pro leagues/teams/players actually care about any of that when it's purely about money.

All that being said, the Bowns and their fans should be jumping for joy over a divsion rival picking up their own failed bum of a coach in preperation for him to take over for Marvin Lewis. That's 1 team they don't have to worry about winning that division for the next 2-3+ years as long as they keep Hue Jackson in charge, so Christmas pretty much came early for Cleveland football fans this year.

He worked for Cincy first. And a lot longer than he worked in Cleveland. Mike Brown doesn't like to fire people. Since his dad got the axe from Art up in Cleveland.

Baker should shut up. He wins games, his coach doesn't get fired in the first place.

Hue sucks balls for coke at being a HC. Stick to what you do Hue, call decent plays for a decent team. But isnt he an assistant to Marvin now? What is that? Does he bring Marvin his tampons, gatorade, a towel if he is sweating-rubs his balls, etc.?

He spoke out of turn for a rookie, just my opinion.

I agree that everyone is blowing the whole thing out of proportion but that's what people do....

I just simply don't understand what Baker's problem is with what hue did ... Baker does realize that the Browns fired hue right? A man has a right to work if he still wants to work correct?

Did Baker think that Hue should have had a lifelong love for the team that just fired him?

I actually love it when athletes say what is on their mind

I simply don't understand where Baker is coming from on this one

Poll the entire Browns locker room.

Just because Baker is the only one with a microphone in his face with these questions doesn't mean he's the only one with these feels.

I'm all for a guy making a living...but going directly to a divisional rival?

That's just not cricket.

Eh, I guess I just don't see what the big deal is.

I do have to say that if this is how many of the Browns players feel, then I would go out on a limb and say he was not very popular with the players.

Typically, if you like someone and they get fired and they are at a low point in their life, you are happy to see them get a new job and keep doing what they like doing

It seems pretty obvious the players in Cleveland didn't like Hue, but you just don't say it out loud. You only make yourself look bad.

He's right. He may be an asshole, but he's right.

Poor Cincinnati, finally are getting rid of Lewis after 16 seasons and their replacement is going to be Hue.

could you imagine? there would be mass suicides in Cincy if that happened ....

dude, Baker just doesnt feel the need to be all buddy buddy with Hue....Hue can do whatever he wants--- if he wants to jump from the Browns and 2 weeks later be on the sidelines trying to beat the Browns with one of their biggest rivals- that is certianly Hue's right---- but that does not mean that Baker and many of the other Browns have to act like friends with Hue.

Baker shook his hand and was respectful but had no intention of being fake and buddy buddy with Hue. I wish we had more of that type of real behavior.

yah people comparing Baker going from Texas Tech to OK as Hue going from Cle to Cin are the worst

Baker walked on at TTech, became the starter, got hurt, and they didnt offer him a scholarship. He decided to go elsewhere and sat out an entire year.

Hue is getting paid millions upon millions by the Browns, gets fired and two weeks later is drawing a paycheck from their in-state rival.

As i have said- Hue can do whatever the hell he wants to do- but the Browns players shouldnt feel obligated to kiss his ass and act like his best friend.

I wouldnt have hugged him either but not for the fact he went to Cincy for the fact he sucked as a coach and wouldn’t let the players play. Either way it doesnt matter, who cares about Hue and it’s Baker’s opinion and that’s how he feels. He was in the locker room, not us. If y’all havent noticed, he is very emotional on the field too and it seems to be working for him.

when did i say i thought Baker should be friends with Hue? All I said was it was Hue's right to go wherever he wants and no one should care ... he was FIRED .... it's not like he quit on the Browns and immediately went to one of their main rivals to try and screw them.

I don't mind that Baker said what was on his mind ... i just personally don't think it should have even been a talking point in the first place
