Are we ready to look for a good coach yet?

That game by PSU was about as ugly as Maryland's helmets

It doesn't matter how great a recruiter Franklin is if he can't coach or motivate the players he recruits and that's what this PSU team looks like
They look very unprepared and very unmotivated to even want to prepare and improve

Yes - the COVID situation had an effect
Yes - it would have been nice to have Micah there

But as a coach you have to overcome those setbacks and at the very least have your team look like a team and look like a team that wants to be there

If you get beat you get beat but at least go out there and play to the best of your abilities

Big time college football is about getting the best players and dominating. Franklin doesn't dominate good teams and now he is starting to lose to teams he shouldn't be losing to. Sadly they extended him last year so he is there for awhile.

Franklin is known for being a great recruiter but he doesn't seem to know how to coach them once he gets them. It's rare to find that great recruiting/coaching combination and I guess that's why we see almost the same teams in the final four every year.
