Hopefully Tus is in a better state mentally after getting paid and getting the situation with Flores off his chest !!

That was ridiculous what Tua had to go through. Day after day of listening to someone who doesn't believe in you. At a time when he was recovering from hip surgery. Getting your mind right and ready to play after a major surgery is hard enough. Tua could have just left the game. Now look at how well he is playing.
I remember Flores not being able to keep offensive coaches. They were leaving for parallel moves not promotions.
I wouldn't choose a head coach from the Belichick coaching tree. Flores proved what we knew already he can coach defense but other than that it was a disaster. Belichick coached for over 20 years in New England. Was there 1 good head coach from his coaching tree?

Saban was a great success in college but not the NFL.
Mayo could be a good coach but the timing isn't good. He's competing against 3 very good defenses in the division plus he is facing two QBs in their prime and at least one HOF QB. The other 3 head coaches are good and more experienced.

The dumbest decision in Dolphins history. It will never be topped. The only thing dumber than giving fragile Tua a long-term contract was giving him a fifth year and drafting him in the first place.

Mike Vrabel was a Patriot player and had success with Houston as DC and wit the Titans as HC. The Titans are a dumpster fire so the end of his time there was probably a blessing. He's at Cleveland now.
