Cincy was 9th in ORV in the preseason. This is going to end up as a Q1 win I'm almost 100% certain. I'd value more out of the Cincy win than the Creighton win tbh. I'm guessing that ends up as a Q2 win, which will still be valuable come selection sunday.

If they can beat Syracuse, they have a great chance of being 11-0 for their game against UCLA on 12/22. This team has definitely shown a lot more discipline than we've seen in a while as well. I'm impressed by their 3-point shooting. They'll need it.

Washington Jr looks like a good one shooting wise. He's 10/15 from 3 in his first 3 games.

Jackson/Woods are both pretty good 3 point shooters as well.

We are gonna need more from Wesson in the post, he still looks like his conditioning isnt all the way there. Need to get that settled.

Yeah they would have a great chance to be 11-0 as much as it pains me to say it because the gophers are on the schedule. I think you beat cuse especially with it being at home and them without their starting pg.

I'm ecstatic with how we played in NY but I'm going to need to see this kind of defensive effort consistently to really be sold . Prior to these 2 games we just had 80+ dropped on us by Green Bay. The one thing I am happy about that I think is sustainable is how much better our ball movement and ball protection is now that McCaffrey can be on the court with Bohannon . Last year it was Bohannon or bust and he just got worn down .

agreed, they have been so damn talented offensively for years, but can not defend. Liked what I saw this week though. Big 10 is going to be tough for everyone this year.

I'd be happy to split with ya. I'll be surprised if anyone gets 15+ wins in conference play. Road wins are going to be tough to come by.

I don't think it's unfair after the early season to think this might be a big bounceback year for the B1G. It's clear that it won't be so top heavy, and there are plenty of teams showing well against quality competition. Finally looking forward to basketball season again.

Michigan playing solid defense once again but I would be lying if I wasn't concerned with the offense.

Really a good preseason yo show well considering we are going to 20 conference games . Once we hit league play most teams should have really good metrics which means we won't lose much even with losses .

12 top 50 KenPom teams...then Illinois and Rutgers. lol.

12 won't end up in the top 50, but to your point, all these early season wins will only boost SoS numbers. Potential for a lot of top 50 wins, and to avoid bad losses(outside 100 for example)

For sure. Great ooc results is how leagues get 8-10 teahs in the tourney . The ACC/B10 challenge should tell us a little more

If the B1G can manage to win that, I don't see how they aren't the top conference hands down then. It'll still be tough because while the B1G is the deeper league, ACC is more top heavy with teams like Duke, UNC, UVA, FSU, and VT. Although we'll get a gauge on VT tonight with their game against Purdue.

I think if the B10 can get 1-2 of those 5 matchups they'll have a great chance to spkut at least ( if not win )

That's true. But I wouldn't put them in that top 5. But maybe they deserve to be with how VT is looking against Purdue. Taking nothing away from Purdue they look fantastic this half.
