In a private conversation before a press conference picked up by a hot mic, Carter seemingly revealed that the Big Ten is set to announce its plans for a college season on Tuesday night.

"We're getting ready to announce the Huskers and Big Ten football tonight," Carter told Bob Hinson, director of the National Strategic Research Institute, according to KETV Newswatch 7. “It's a good move in the right direction.”

Sounds like good news for the B1G and the football season.
