You are more confident than me, amigo.

Hyde won't have a problem getting his yards. As long as your D is not dreadful (their offense isn't that great) and you don't give them great field position with turnovers/poor special teams play I don't see OSU having too much trouble with them.

You also said Bama was a LOCK.

I was only trying to jinx them. That's why I sarcastically put it in huge letters multiple times.

I'm not trying to jinx OSU. Just stating what I think having paid close attention to the Big 10 this season.

I genuinely hope this game livrs up to my expectations. I think Sparty puts Ohio State through a vice, but tOSU's D will get a clutch stop and the Nuts get a title shot.

Shazier is going to play like a man possessed this weekend, after getting absurdly overlooked for the B1G LB of the year.

Well I actually have respect for MSU, and they always play us tough.

I honestly think how this game starts will determine how the whole game plays out. If OSU can come out and go at will vs the MSU defense, then I'm less worried.. (This likely wont happen) so saying that.

OSU - 31 (with a TD very late in the 4th)
MSU - 20

I'm hoping OSU realizes they now have something to play for, and take care of business.

If MSU does win though, I will surely tip my hat to them... and give them the double birds :)

Why do they play this at Lucas Oil Stadium? I thought playing football indoors in the winter is only for "pussy" southern schools.

It's the pussies that will attend the game that the CONFERENCE is doing this for. I think if you left it to the individual schools you would see a top seeded team get the home game.

Besides, the "pussy" southern schools are going to play indoors or in sunny climates. We might as well use this as indoor practice for matching up in bowl games.:suds:

Soldier was on the short list. However the powers that be (corporate $$$) got their way. I really can't blame them. But I would rather see it in an open air stadium. I think you'll hear the same from most of the other
B1G fans on here. At least the ones my age. We didn't grow up with all these pretty domes.:suds:

What's the spread?

6 I think. If it wasn't for that flag-fest in South Bend this could be even bigger. All of Sparty's wins have been by > 10 though they haven't beaten anyone all that good. I didn't think they had a shot in this one until last week. They clown-stomped Michigan. That means nothing I know. Strength on strength. It should be a good one. What the hell...

Sparty - 24
Nuts - 21

One factor that cannot be overlooked in this game is the effect from last week. Ohio State find themselves in a dog-fight against a Michigan team than most expected them to roll over. Added to the fact of the rivalry nature of The Game, that had to take a huge emotional toll on the Buckeyes. Time and time again we have seen that when a team has that kind of emotional game they very often end up playing flat the next week. So the question is; how much more does Ohio State have in the tank, and will it be enough?

I agree with you here except for the Michigan rolling over thing. I told many, and said it on there that THE Game was going to be a lot closer than many thing.
The one thing I liked is the Buckeyes did not give up when Michigan scored the last time. I was sure they would conver that 2 pt. conversion. Michigan was moving the ball too easily but the Buckeyes played tight and did not give up and that is huge. I hope they do not come out down in the CCG.
