8:17PM on FOX, from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Current line: Ohio State -6

The biggest story will be Ohio State's #2 ranked national rushing offense (321.3 ypg) vs. Michigan State's #1 ranked rush defense (64.8 ypg). Michigan State's offense will have to rely heavily on Connor Cook to get the offense balanced with Jeremy Langford having no small task vs. OSU's rush defense (5th in the nation). A steady diet of Braxton and Hyde on the ground will be the key to OSU's offense while also being sure to incorporate players like Jeff Heuerman into the passing game, with MSU's fantastic defensive backs likely blanketing Philly Brown and Devin Smith.

Prediction -
Ohio State: 24
Michigan State: 16

MSU went from preseason #26/#28 to #9/#10 now. Need to play Ohio St close if they want to stay in the top 14 and go to a BCS poll (Fiesta v Northern Illinois would be cool)

Ohio St was preseason #2/#2 and that is what they are now. Just win and they go to the title game v FSU in Pasadena's Rose Bowl stadium

Seems almost every time the big story in a game is one side of the ball, its the other side that determines the outcome.

Ohio State's defense (or lack thereof recently) vs MSU's offense may be the determining factor in the game.

I wouldn't be shocked to see an OSU defensive TD, to be honest.

FOX...what's with that shit? Did you guys bid this out? Who's calling the game?

I don't think MSU has the horses to hang with Ohio St., but I said that about Michigan too, so there is that...

Well Fox does have the contract with the BTN, so I'd guess that's where it comes from. IIRC, the B1G CCG has been on Fox the last 2 years. I'm hoping so much it's gonna be Gus Johnson.

MSU has the horses on defense for sure, and their offense has improved quite a bit now that they have some consistency with who's lining up under center. Their RB is also pretty solid.

To be fair, Michigan State has been told this season that they don't have the horses to hang with Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska. This is just turning into a madlib of insert the team name for Michigan State. I think they will be able to hang. Ohio State is a great team, but you never know. Teams have a close tough win one week and can't keep the emotion levels that high for the next (Alabama 2012). Players can get caught looking ahead for the title game and lose focus and trip when that game is within their grasp (Missouri and West Virginia 2007).

I'm not making any predictions. But I don't think anybody needs to worry about tOSU looking ahead to a title game. They know they don't sniff that game without a win in Indy. I also think the team gets a severe dose of Urban attitude this week in practice.

good. here's hoping both teams hit the field healthy, confident and focused. this is the third & last Legends/Leaders CG...the first was a classic; the second was a travesty; this one could be monumental.

luck, Buckeyes

The key is going to be tOSU's offense. I have never seen them play that bad on defense in a looong time like they did vs Michigan.

They need to stop playing like pussies and man up.

I think our offense will play well. Nebraska had 182 rushing yds on Michigan St. I am confident in the offense, defense just needs to be dominant.

Defense doesn't even need to be dominant, they just need to be competent for a change and our offense will take care of the rest.

This will be a close game. I'm predicting 35-28 tOSU over MSU.

You are more confident than me, amigo.

I'm not making any predictions either, but I feel better about going into this game than last week going into the skunk house........ neutral field. Defense will get an earful all week. and won't play bad two weeks in a row.

oh, and MSU hasn't seen a team this good all year........
