Science would be very against a mass culling that doesn't factor in carbon footprints. I'm sure Scientists would much rather just see every US, EU, India, China and Australia kid wiped out and then just let the rest of the world deal with what was left.

Needless to say, population control is quite evil.

Yeah I got a good kick out of the article myself

If half the organisms in the human body were to suddenly die, wouldn’t we die?

Life in general is a very fragile ecosystem. Arbitrarily killing 1/2 of all life would result is killing almost all complex organisms as a side effect.

Science fail.

It was just a bounce of nerds who haven't ever gotten laid who wrote this article I am sure

People, especially with Star Wars, have these expectations of movies. The way they are told, laid out, finished, already have an ending they thought would be the perfect way to do things. In their own minds. And when it's done differently, they think it's trash even though it really isn't. it's just different than how they themselves would do things.

I relate it back to the first time I experienced something like this, was Transformers 1. A friend said. "What!?!? They can scan a car and change into it? That's not realistic." Firsts, its a freaking science fiction movie. Second, this robotic race has centuries of technology advancement and can transform into fighting robots. I think Bumble Bee can change his style of car.

If you don't like this ending, fine. For me, Avengers could have been told and ending in several different ways and I still would have been satisfied (from my own desires), but I still fully enjoyed this one and after watching it. I wouldn't change it after the fact. And If they went a different arc or path, and I enjoyed it. I would probably say the same thing not knowing the other story told.

Killing half the humans on earth would lower the population to 1972 levels. Not a very empty works then

Trivia that I found interesting: the building used for filming the exterior of the Avengers base is actually the Porsche US headquarters in Atlanta:

I was involved in that building project. It's only about 6 years old.

Well shit!

Finally got to go see this. For the most part a satisfying conclusion to the story line.

But I could've waited for the re-release if I had known about it.

I am actually good with the lack of post-credit-scene. This was the culmination of the first 4 phases. Technically nothing to bridge with a post-credit-scene.

That said, if they are adding some, I want to see them. But I won’t pay for it. They got my money already.

More info: There will be 7 minutes of new footage added at the end, consisting of post-credits scenes and a tribute to Stan Lee.

More stuff added to the re-release:

One of the deleted scenes that will be on the home video release, published as an SDCC 2019 promo:
