Once again Coug, we don't know that, his winning percentage as a starter for the Rams was better than Sammies,.ya he might suck as a starter, but he is a solid back up at the very least as you even finally admit.

Big F cking deal Sammie is a starter, not a very good one, hasn't really proven he is a better starter than Davis, he has just been given more opportunities to show that he is.
I will give you this Coug, he showed more emotion after that 3rd down pass than he Ever did with the Rams, but I think alot of it was, because he even surprised himself with that pass!:)

yeah pretty awesome right!! :thumb: and no he can make that throw all day. No happy feet for SAM stood in that collapsing pocket like a BOSS! I was just amazed the WR didn't drop it.

Again, delusional, he can make that throw all day, that's why he still dinks and dunks most of the time, he threw for 120 yards, that should tell you he doesn't throw it down field much at all, and alot of that was throwing it to Sprouls out of the backfield?

You should go over to the Philly board and Coo over your boy, unfortunately most Philly fans don't like or want him either!

When will you realize defenses play so he can't throw it deep. Because if they don't he has the arm to torch them!! So he's smart and takes what they give him. Efficient assassin. I'll take Dink and dunk for a Win any day.

Well you should be real happy about his time as a Ram when he was dinking and dunking, oh wait he wasn't winning with that approach, nor is he really with Philly. I doubt they finish .500, but that's about the best they can hope for!

In 6 years, I haven't seen Sammy doing much torching of anyone, oh that's right because defense are taking that away from him, because they are afraid of the greatness that is Samuel Bradford, yet other so called elite type QB's like Sammy continue to throw bomb after bomb for 4,000-5,000 yards a year, 40-50 TDs, I guess defenses don't know about them?

Maybe we should get him back, Fisher and him are both .500 (in a good year) kind of guys

Remember when he had 5 games in a row with at least a 50yd pass?? Of course you don't. That is torching the D.

Wow, remember when D Lamonica use to do it week in week out! Ya, he was torching and lighting up defenses, on his way to 200 yard games right and left, because he completed one big pass and sucked the rest of the game! Ya, back in the days when he had to pass because we were usually so far behind!

Ya I do, it was last year, see your memory isn't very good at all, that's why I don't take much of what you say to seriously!

Oh he was playing because fragile boy "couldn't"!

His numbers were better against Cincy than our QB's were.

Just saying.

That's what happens when you're down 30 and the defense lets you dink and dunk...sound familiar?

Didn't see this game. I figured Davis got some garbage time. He started off ok, but Cleveland may have worse play makers than the Rams. Their TE is ok and Benjamin is a poor man's Tavon.

Never said he was great... But he is better then any QB we have or Davis hands down!

I'd still take Davis at $2-3 million rather than Sam Bradford at $13-16 million. Their level of play is NOT even close to being 10 million dollar difference.

Davis did complete 65% of his passes which is good! He also had an INT. I still don't believe that Bradford will become a top tier QB in the league... Not until he can stay on the football field for 16 games, make the deep throws on a constant basis, play from behind where the defense and special teams do not score points.

And I don't believe Foles is our long term answer. WHEREVER the Rams play in the near future, they are still going to be in rebuilding mode.

Benjamin got hurt early in the game. that didn't help.

they basically have Barnidge and Benjamin and not much else.

we have Tavon and Gurley and not much else.

Wouldn't it be something if the Rams and Browns played this season and Davis started for the Browns and he torched the Rams... Fisher would then say, "I knew Austin Davis could play like that, I knew he has what it takes to start in this league." LOL!

It's easy to throw numbers out there and not know the facts. Sorry but Cleveland didn't start the game out being down by 30? I watched some of the game, and he was pretty much the same in each half, in fact he threw the ball less times in the second half for more yards, so much for your dink and dunk theory!
As I said he's not by any means great, but he can throw the ball better than anyone we have had since Bulger! The guy completes 64% of his passes, Sammy struggled to complete less than 60% of his passes, and that was a lot of dinking and duunking!

I already stated that this would happen before last weeks game, it's not a surprise. As I've already said, it only makes sense to start JM, they drafted him in the first round, of course they have to justify that! If JM hadn't been in the dog house, he would have started last week!

Cleveland is in the same exact spot we were last year, only Fisher screwed the pooch and started Hill over Davis, which served no purpose whatsoever, and it cost us Davis!
Cleveland has to start JM to see if he is their answer or if he isn't, like with Davis, you can't find that out with him on the bench!
