Now go get Blalock and Barksdale, then draft the best OL at number 10. I can live with Jones and Barnes at C.
I don't know shops, as a true Blue Bruins fan, I've been watching Brett Hundley play for the last three years and he has a lot of up side coming into the NFL.Unless the Rams were going to chase one of the top 4 or 5 QBs in the draft, they are probably better off with Davis. Only the top 2 are definitely better, so give him another year and maybe draft a QB next year I guess. Even if they do draft a QB, he's a cheap cut.
He is a smart kid and I think he will only need a year holding on to the clip board for whatever team who ends up picking him but my point was, his up side is so much greater than what we get with either Austin or Case for that matter that he will be a much better prospect in his third year than Austin is today. Fisher may see some similarities to Mc Nair as well.Is someone who needs several years of development going to help the Rams needs now? The issue at hand is that Foles is a free agent after the season; the Rams may need a QB within a year.
Hundley appears to have the tools, but really did not improve much this past year and seems to have stagnated. He's another of these one read, then tuck and run guys. Even if you include Hundley and say the top 3 are improvements over Davis and his pro experience, he may all be gone by the Rams' second round pick.
I'm glad they signed him.
Hundley will be gone before their 2nd round pick anyways and Davis is better than all the other QB's at that point.
plus, I think Davis still has some upside to him. remember, he only played 8 games. he can still improve. plus, if Foles goes down, Davis is a better option than Keenum or some rookie QB.
I'm not so sure, we will see who wins out the backup role behind Foles. Rams thought enough of Case to go back and get him and they spent that 7th rounder to do it.I agree ALR!

A 7th rounder is a throw away pick. Remember Michael Sam?
and why is it everyone thinks Keenum has more upside than Davis? I posted their stats in another thread and they are basically even except Davis has less turnovers
Throw away huh?
Do you or anyone else remember any of these guys?
- Tom Brady 6th
- Terrell Davis 6th
- Donald Driver 7th
- Shannon Sharpe 7th
- Richard Dent 8th
- Ken Houston 8th
- Dwight Clark 10th

Happy to have him back in the fold. Although I'm not as big a fan of his as some others on here, would much rather have him than not have him right now. Much more confident now going into this season than last season at the QB position...
