Mens:

Nadal's Quarter:

Nadal - Tiafoe 4th round:

Tiafoe will probably win. I'll pick Nadal in 5.

Nadal - Medvedev QF:

Again, I think Nadal will lose. But I'll pick Nadal in 4.

Tsitsipas' Quarter:

Wawrinka - Auger-Aliassime 2nd round: I hope it's competitive. Auger-Aliassime in 4.

Tsitsipas - Auger-Aliassime QF: Continuing my theme of usually picking against what I think will happen, Tsitsipas in 4.

Djokovic's Quarter:

Djokovic - Kyrgios QF: Djokovic in 4 is the most likely result, but I hope Kyrgios shows more.

Ruud's Quarter:

Berrettini - Andy Murray first round: Berrettini in 5.

Ruud - Fritz QF: In a surprise, Fritz in 4.

Nadal - Tsitsipas SF: Nadal in 3.

Djokovic - Fritz SF: I wish this would be competitive, but the most likely result is Djokovic in 3.

Nadal vs. Djokovic Finals: Most likely result is Djokovic in 3, but I'll say Djokovic in 4.

Women's Draw:

Swiatek's Quarter:

Swiatek - Gauf QF: Swiatek in 2.

Pegula's Quarter:

Kenin - Azarenka 1st round: Azarenka in 3.
Kvitova - Azarenka 3rd round: Not sure, but Kvitova in 2.

Kvitova to the SF, I guess.

Caroline Garcia's Quarter:

I was about to pick an unranked player to come out of the quarter.

But I'll say Pliskova.

Jabeur's Quarter:

Sabalenka to the SF.

Swiatek - Kvitova SF: In an upset, Kvitova in 2.

Pliskova - Sabalenka SF: Pliskova in 3.

Kvitova - Pliskova Finals:
Pliskova in 3.

If I'm wrong about Swiatek losing in the SF, then she'll win the title.

ESPN has ruined the Australian Open. All of the night matches are on ESPN+, through the QFs.

I don't have ESPN+, so I can't watch them.

There's been some good day matches, but a lot more night matches, which are now unwatchable.

it's being played in Australia...they are all night matches here

but I agree...it sucks that anything live is on ESPN+

I've been used to doing one of two things, for the Australia night matches:

1). Some nights, I DVR it then watch it the next day.
2). Other nights, I'll stay up until 3-4am and watch it.

Now, if they're on ESPN+, neither option is possible.

For over the first set, Rybakina looked like the better player.

Then Sabalenka cut down on her errors, and outplayed her.

Good for her, since she's been close a few times.
