On Monday, November 19, following a 14-10 home loss to the arch-rival Dallas Cowboys, Redskins head coach Jim Zorn was asked why Davis wasn't involved in the offense. Zorn answered: "It really is a matter of [Davis] doing his assignments correctly. It's a trust factor. It's not a speed factor. It's not an ability factor. But it makes no sense for me to put a guy out there who can run real fast, but not going in the right direction. Or in some cases not even go out. It's not that he forgot, it's just that it didn't register." Zorn said it's difficult to tolerate those kinds of mistakes, even if it happens just once or twice. "If it happens at all, it's hard to trust," Zorn said. "So that's part of the issue."

If Zorn saw that he was worthless... dude GOTZ ta be worthless.

No offense but using, referencing, or listening to anything that Jim Zorn has to say is a non starter for me.

Something tells me any one with even a hint of substance abuse issues is a no sale as far as Scot Mc is concerned.

Nope... but it does mean that as some one who has gone through it, he isnt going to risk the team taking a player who has failed the three or more strike rule. A GM getting twisted on a Friday night wont cost the team Millions AND possibly games. A player who just got off a year long suspension, or one who comes into the league already on the short list should NOT be considered for this team.

Its a huge reason why Im glad we didnt take Gregory.

He isn't coming back here. He showed flashes of being good.......3 years ago. His days are past him. He'll get a few try outs and may get picked up by someone, but I bet its not until the injury bug hits and a team needs a fill in TE.
