Because that will be 1st on my wishlist until we get one.

I like Tufele from USC. Like him more than most other. He probably goes late 1st early 2nd. This draft seems a little weak for defensive lineman,but maybe someone emerges at the combine.

Jimmy Johson clearly valued safeties.. jerruh not so much. People forget that we also had brock marion back then who also was damn good.

Well I know what happened to him. One of the smartest & most underrated safeties retired from being beside him.
Like all great players. he made those around him better. Pretty sure I dont have to mention the actual name of this player.

With so many players opting out due to covid last season this is going to be an interesting year for the scouts. Teams whi do their homework will profit, others will flounder.

& college football missing so many games. The Scouts will either be proven gold at knowing what they are doing or lucky as fuck with their coin flipping.

It's a disgrace that the safety . you are talking about is not in the HOF. . He is right up there with the all time greats in team history.. he had no weakness and could cover receivers and very few safeties that I knew of could cover Jerry Rice,but Woodson could. Woodson ran a sub 4.4 40 and was not a small safety.

I just know that very few chunk plays happened when we had Woodson,Washington and Brock Marion.. the defense has sucked ever since Woodson retired

Jerry obviously forgot about this . I remember Woodson and Washington making huge game altering plays in the post season. That was a great tandem. We have not had anybody worth a damn at safety since the days of Woodson,Washington and Brock Marion. I think they need to draft a corner in round 1 and a safety in round 2.

Been listening to the local draft gurus here on 105.3 the fan in Dallas and neither guy thinks a defensive player actually rates in the top 10! Not saying they are right or wrong or that players won’t get drafted that high on defense. Just throwing it out for perusa.
