Odd... They've begun marketing the DLCs before the game even drops?
I didn't play the Odyssey DLC but it looked cool. Don't know if it was worth the additional 40 for that and outfits though. My guess is they are doing this because they want people to buy the Season Pass when you buy the game. The Season Passes for the last 2 games are like an additional 40 bucks and get you the DLCs that come out later and some other stuff (like outfits and shit).

Reading some reviews, this sounds pretty great. Building your settlement and conquering/forging alliances with different kingdoms sounds fun. They also revamped the side quests so they aren't as repetitive. Instead of doing basically the same tasks over and over and over again where you'd trek large distances to fetch one item or kill a guy, the side quests are more contained. It sounds more like stuff you'd see in other RPG style games or maybe even similar to side quests from a game like the RDR franchise. Also, there's not a gear bloat either. Origins and Odyssey basically had you constantly getting gear you could use, upgrade, sell, breakdown, etc. It was never ending. Now there is a set amount of gear. Once you find an item, that's it. If you get rid of it, its gone. That's great for me because I hated managing my gear in the previous games, constantly clearing out stuff I'll never use.
It gives you options. You can completely wipe out a raid site by ninjaing solo, it just gives you the option of blowing the horn and getting your clan to raid with you.Anyone bought this? I was going to, but they said a lot less focus on being stealthy and stabbing people, which was by far my favorite thing in odyssey.
IDK why people get so worked up over this every year. The way the game is featured isn't how you have to play it. You ALWAYS have the option to use stealth in any scenario.Anyone bought this? Just dont play it on the ps4. The lag, disconnect, and glitches are cringeworthy. Ps5 it is a beautiful game.
The ability tree is insane in this game.IDK why people get so worked up over this every year. The way the game is featured isn't how you have to play it. You ALWAYS have the option to use stealth in any scenario.
This game is exactly like Odyssey, but with far more abilities.
From what I can tell it isn't exactly like Odyssey. Valhalla definitely adds in areas and streamlines down in other areas. Odyssey is very much a 'I got a Blue Headpiece to match my Green Armor and my +5 spear. Oh look, I picked up another thing' while Valhalla looks like a game where you level up a million times and the skill tree is the size of the human genome. 'Oh look what I can do now!' 'Oh look, I can do another cool thing!'IDK why people get so worked up over this every year. The way the game is featured isn't how you have to play it. I actually dont think the games will have too much overlap, tbh. Valhalla is going to have 10x more combat and Cyberpunk will probably have 10x more story
