Tapey
Hooplas biggest Cardinals homer.
I meant this gameActually he hasn't. He has struggled on every outing. Even DIPoto mentioned his slow start.

Well too be fair hes looked good against everyone else besides Davis, and Davis usually crushes us.Didn't he give up the homer?

That is what I said. Yes he gave up a home run, but Davis usually crushes us, outside Davis he looks aight tonight.
Hell of a throw by Lucroy. Can't really blame Heredia on that.
Probably goes to the 6 hole, which is crazy to think aboutBut great game, nice seeing Seager and Vogelbach come through. Obviously Mitch as well, curious to where he hits in the order once Cruz comes back. I know I'm out on my own on this but I'd like him to hit in the 2 hole.
Was a massively botched hit and run. Wasn't Heredia's fault at all. I think today's game was an audition between Romine and Motter and after today I'd say Motter.

Yea they like their lefty righty order. I would have liked to have Haniger in the 5 hole then move Seager to the 6I think that is where he will go too, back to the old lineup but just seems crazy they move him from 6 to 4, he produces then move him back.
Tough issue. It really doesn't matter between the two of them, but I think I'd prefer Motter because he has better base-running skills than Romine. Romine offers more experience and versatility, but Motter has more value as a runner which can matter in late game situations.

I agreeI know I got into this debate on another thread but I don't care about the L/R. They are professionals, if they can't hit against a lefty releiver they shouldn't be an everyday starter. Just as lefty releivers who can't get righties out shouldn't be in the big leagues. Lefties get shafted on analytics since teams went with "specialists"
Well roster wise they have tough decisions which is why I think they held Cruz and Gamel back even though both are ready. They have Motter/Romine, Vogelbach, Ichiro/Heredia to send down.

The Ichiro thing is a real quagmire. I hate the signing because I anticipate he won't be worthy of keeping on the roster, but it would be really shitty to cut him for obvious reasons. I'm rooting for him simply because I would hate to see him get DFA'd, which I think will inevitably happen.
