I didn't see anything about alleged multiple offenses....

nor I, but OU(or any other school) would not suspend a player for a year because of what the papers have reported about Shannon. There's stuff we don't know about Shannon.

It makes no sense to suspend him for a year for a single offense. At worse, he should have been forced to undergo counseling.
