I know I've had some serious gas & stabbing pains in my stomach that have made me wanna die. That shit is scary.

After a huge Greek Salad for lunch and too much of my homemade plum wine during Happy Hour, I've felt like that about 2-3 AM......

And as Jack Nicholson said in The Bucket List, "Never trust a fart.."

Glad to hear he's okay, probably just a bad meal.

He is not okay...

This is what Brock Lesner had that caused him to miss about 2 years off MMA. He had to have a few feet of his intestines removed.

At this point, I don't know what this diagnosis means for Arians. But since he is not an athlete, I hope it doesn't affect him too much.

That is not fun.

2 guys I've worked with had it and it laid them low for quite a while.

From what I read, Arians has been on a new diet over the last four months. The change in the type of food consumption probably brought this on. So maybe it's not as bad as it could have been for someone who wasn't diagnosed for while.

Yeah, diverticulitis is not fun, it's basically little pockets in your colon and can be very painful.

It sounds like his body's adjusting to the changed diet, which is good, but is exposing his body is messed up from years of bad eating. He's probably eating more fiber now, which is a good thing, but his colon can't handle it yet. Arians was known back in the day for drinking his six packs and eating pretzels while coaching Temple in Philly, so I suspect he has some ground to make up... :D
