Hey Ap State beat UNC. If they beat USCe that's 2 P5 wins. Say there is chaos and they go undefeated and there are a bunch of P5 1 or 2 loss teams fighting for a playoff spot. Is there a scenario where they get a playoff bid?

Only G5 team IMO who'd be in contention for that is Boise State because they've built up equity over the years as a team who can win the old BCS Bowls.

Now if the Broncos lose and the Mountaineers go undefeated I'd imagine App State gets a NY6 Bowl.

I think the MWC and AAC are much stronger than the Sun Belt. There are a handful of teams in those conferences that would need to lose in order for App St to make it in an NY6, not just Boise.
