I think the Browns show up and play a good game against the Ravens. These teams split last year and it's a divisional game, which are usually a toss-up.

If the Browns were to win any game in particular, it certainly feels like it'd be this one. The Browns look like the worst team I've seen in at least since the 0-16 Lions on paper so the answer is still no.

Apparently these guys think Cleveland rocks.

Me personally I think the Browns will try to lose on purpose this year. Should be drafting number 1 next draft

Hopefully the Ravens defense shows up this time since they made McCown look like Montana last year :L

Lol, the OP doesn't know his Browns-Ravens history.

Since 2008 (last 16 times the teams have played), the Browns have only beaten Baltimore 2x (once at each location). During that same time period, the Browns have beaten the Bengals 5x and the Steelers just 3x. So, if the Brownies are likely to steal a win vs anyone in the division, it'll be vs the Bungles.

Unless McCown has an amazing game, I just don't see Cleveland winning any games this year...MAYBE vs Tennessee. Might be a completely different team by midseason though since there are so many youngsters playing and there's the chance they mature, but I'm not betting on it.

I will give their fan base kudos as when the Browns player in Seattle last year I was surprised at how many Brown's fans were in attendance. Same goes to Miami fans last week. Definite representation.

The Ravens aren't even that good of a team, so if they lose this game unfortunately the season is looking awful. I know it's a bad way of looking at it, but it's the Browns. I have learned to accept it

I will say the Browns-Ravens games are normally fairly close but Cleveland is a bad team, and bad teams normally find a way to lose. The defense is frighteningly bad, or at least they played that way vs Philly, and the offense is questionable at best...not a great combo.

but they showed signs of getting over that hump last year and made me think that they were one or two players away from being good .. so IDK

Good as in 6 or 7 wins. I will take that with this team, they have some talent but they are weak especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Lol, they do that every year.

I am actually optimistic with the regime they have in place now though. The front office appears to be focused on building with youth and the HC is known for his QB development. I wouldn't be surprised if Kessler is the starter by mid-season and they're absolutely loaded with young players that appear to be decent and draft picks.

They're more than 1-2 players away, but they might be 2 or so years from being competitive in the division if they can ever hit on a good young QB. They're a year or 2 behind Oakland and Jacksonville right now.

I have said this before there isnt any fans out there more loyal to their team than browns fans and for that reason I would love for your team to become competitive..

I don't like them to win. But I definitely like them to cover the 6.5. That's a big line for any divisional game, especially one between what I consider 2 bottom 10 teams.
