Is he still with the Stones?

From what I have been seeing, he is hold up at an Irish pub in Mississauga listening to presentations from GM's on why they should be his team. So far, Buff, LA, Detroit and Tampa have talked with him.

I heard that he has a meeting with Pegula this afternoon, and that no team is willing to pay higher than what Pegula has to offer?

Sound good to you?

12:07 p.m.: If Brad Richards had $1 for every time TSN (which is being simulcast on NHL Network) has said the Sabres and Terry Pegula, he'd already have enough cash for more than a few Whoppers. The Sabres are getting some TV love.

2:11 p.m.: Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos is reporting that teams are offering Brad Richards contracts with $12.8 million in the each of the first two years. That's some serious dough.

Sure does. I read on TSN yesterday that he was going to take his time before deciding. Probably because so many teams are interested.

He is in a good position because there is not much competition for top forwards this year. He will be overpaid by someone.

Like I said in the chat, if the Sabres sign Richards, I am officially declaring war on Buffalo!

It looks like Jessie Pegula accidentally tweeted that Richards will not be coming to Buffalo?

Do the Leafs have the cap room to get involved? I'm not sure what their situation is.

We are currently 22.5 million under the cap. We still have Armstrong to sign and some other FA's but plenty of money to throw around.

"Sorry guys I sat on my phone driving to a doctors appointment! I'm not at the arena so I don't know anything."

Her ass must be amazing?
