Any Lakers fans want to make an avi bet?

I guarantee you the Lakers won't win more than 30 games this year. Since most of you seem sooo confident about this year's team for some bizarre reason, I would love to make an avatar bet on it. Whoever loses has to use an avatar of that person's choice for the entire duration of the playoffs once the season ends.

I wish it were true that they would only win 30 games or fewer because they get to keep their 1st round draft pick if it's top 5, but I truly believe they'll win 35-38 games. They will suck, but they will be better than last season. Not very hard to do that.

That said, Lakers with Kobe will be better. Kobe is still a top 20, maybe even a top 10 player.

I suspect 35-40 wins (Boozer motivated, Lin a grade up, Randle's energy and Kobe healthy)

My observation is obsessed as in they are neurotic about it - It appears that they realize that the Lakers are capable of turning things around on a dime and suddenly become a contender and in fact they know the Lakers will sooner or later which then keeps them obsessed about when it will happen.

I'm intrigued as to why so many seem to think they won't even hit 30. Like it was mentioned before, they won 27 last year and that included over 300 games missed due to injury.

Now we have Kobe back who's proved he can easily return to scoring form, we upgraded our head coach, we upgraded our PG (from Kendall Marshall to Jeremy Lin) and we have two new exciting rookies on our team. Do you honestly think we can't improve by 4 games from last year?

I would have probably even taken the bet at 40 games but seeing as you chose 30 I have a lot of confidence in this!
