I've seen quite a few people mention that Gallo ramping things up at the same time spin rates are down due to the enforcement of the foreign substance rule is not a coincidence.

Personally, I think it is a combination of simply going back to what was natural for him before listening to people telling him what his hitting approach should be, and the sticky stuff crackdown. His numbers started to improve about six weeks ago or so, but not to the extent as they have this last week or so.

If they do make some changes as to what shifts are allowed who knows what his upside will be.
