Not sold on Dunning yet, especially if he's approaching being shut down for the season. I don't mean to write him off as a candidate, but he needs improvement before I consider him a future fixture.

No, he is not a guaranteed fixture. I just don't have a problem penciling him in for the rotation next year.

It is going to be hard to find very many who will do much better in our rebuilding process, where we test young players to see what we have.

The kid has a total of 108 innings in the big leagues. I think he has done very well for his young career so far.

None of these young guys will get much more than 100 innings this year. The lack of pitching in games last year made that a certainty before the season began, no matter how well they pitch.
