Tough to gauge...he's a cuban and they tend to be feast of famine from there...his MiLB numbers are tough to take serisouly considering he was 26/27 in AA/AAA this year...worth a flier...

Yankees purchased the contract of INF/OF Brent Lillibridge from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Lillibridge can play all over the field, but he'll be used mostly for infield depth with the Yankees' bevy of injuries there. He had just one hit in 29 at-bats earlier this season for the Cubs.

So...the Yanks are the 2nd team in consecutive years to trade Youk for Brent Lillibridge...since it worked SOOOO well for the other team last year? I love this move.

Lillibridge had a nice half season with the ChiSox in 2011. The rest of his career, however, has been utter crap.

BJ Upton went on the DL. Probably the best thing that can happen to him anyway. Heyward has hammy issues, Freeman has a finger problem. Gattis is giong to be used all over the place including catcher. He could also DH a few games depending on the match ups. He'll hit nearly 30 bombs if he stays healthy.

Braves are reminding me of the 2012 Yankees with the all or nothing approach. Beachy is coming back from TJS, so you know he'll be throwing 93-96 with no problem. Gattis and Freeman will carry the lineup. Freeman is the team MVP. Guy just comes up with timely hits and drives in runs. And Simmons can wind up being a good top of the order guy eventually. I'm still sticking with 94 wins.
