kept telling people not to drink the coolaid..... still not sold on this dude..NOT! But we are going to struggle for the rest of this season on defense....
He definitely had a bad game. But he definitely had two excellent games leading up to last night. Keep the faith, J.
What about the 6 games prior to that? And the 2 seasons overall including the playoffs prior to that?
What is this faith based off of? 2 games?
Look at the PFF numbers, rey. They don't totally support your narrative this time. There's plenty of blame to spread around.
Oh give him a break... He's been waiting three weeks to make an anti-Dalton post.
Why? He never gives anyone a break. He's an asshole.
Dalton made two bad throws to the sideline last night. He said the one near the goal-line slipped. That can't happen.
I was encouraged that he didn't appear to be hesitant. Even after the turnovers he still kept pressing the ball down the field and he was throwing hard over the middle. These are things he never used to do when he was struggling. If he continues to be aggressive, he'll continue to have a chance to be a good qb.
He also had them in position for the go ahead score two times late in the game:
- Pass that Sanu bobbled and was picked would have had them at the 10 yard line with 9:00 to go in regulation.
- Sanu dropped pass in OT that would have put them within range for Nugent. They elected to punt after the next play was incomplete to Green. Punt from 39 yard line instead.

I did avoid posting some especially last week. People were talking about the #1 seed and how that was the real Dalton and everything else was an anomaly. Wasn't worth the time arguing against peoples' emotional highs and lows.
His inaccuracy downfield reared itself again. I saw a more hesitant player than the "confident" player we saw the last 2 weeks. And a few days ago I had even speculated on here that the "confidence" he was showing may have been due to him being on fire and hitting on all cylinders. Maybe not as bad as we've seen this season, but I didn't see the Dalton from the previous 2 weeks either.
I wouldn't dare to say Dalton had a good night. But considering the two horrible throws, -1.4 isn't so bad, and actually suggests that other than those two throws he had an ok game.
4 turnovers. I don't care who's hands they were off or how it wasn't his fault..
We were in position to win because Miami sucks.
2 to 3 good games is not enough people... When the pressure comes the dude SUCKS!!!!! he continues to take sacks in the red zone and doesnt recognize pressure very well.. He is a good QB he will NEVER BE GREAT! PROMISE!
