3 years 24 million. I am not sure if he was brought to be RT or G but definitely an upgrade and a Biemenemy boy.

I don't like the 9 sacks he gave up at RT though.

Alarming however, a sack or two could be pinned on Mahomes. So right side is now Cosmi & Wylie. That's doable but I don't see much of an upgrade over last year.

Commanders agree to sign OT Andrew Wylie

The deal: Three years, $24 million

Grade: A-

Wylie is an underrated pass-protector who will help whoever starts at quarterback for the Commanders in 2023. I think his reputation is slightly dinged by Patrick Mahomes' higher-than-average time to throw and pressure rates, but his pass block win rate (which measures how frequently he sustained his block for at least 2.5 seconds) was strong at 93%, ninth-best among offensive tackles.

I do put some stock into the general view of Wylie, but it's hard to shake how strong his player tracking numbers are overall. Even if Wylie is an average pass-protecting tackle -- and I think there's a solid chance he's better than that -- this is a good price for the Commanders. -- Walder

So I ask cause wasn’t Andrew Wylie considered the weak link of the Chiefs Oline? So who should move to RG between Andrew Wylie or Sam Cosmi?

Personally, I would draft a RT and move Wylie to LG. Along with a few draft picks, the OL would look something like this left to right:
Leno, Wylie, Rollier, Cosmi, Wright or
Leno, Avila, Rollier, Cosmi, Wylie

Leno does not suck. That being said, if a top LT is there worthy of the pick is available, then you take him.

Let me ask, which LTs would be worthy?

i agree. I would think the top 3 LT's are worthy. NW kid, Ohiost, and Geogia.

Peter Skoronski from NW is the top ranked OL in the draft. I don’t think he will be a LT in the NFL though.

Broderick Jones is your GA boy.

Paris Johnson is OSU. I like Jones more but not a bad pick.

This is a weak OL draft class at the top.

So they are the top three. It doesn’t mean any of them deserve to be the pick. I am not saying these three do not but just because somebody is the best iat that position in a draft doesn’t mean they should even be a first rounder.

Wright is a stud RT...make no mistake about it.
I watched every game he played for 4 years. I don't think he gave up a sack in 2022.

If we traded down to the early 20's and Wright is there...we have a decision to make.
Grab the best RT in the draft and move Wylie to LG OR stay with what we have.

its possible. Im not sure if EB is willing to move Wylie. I m staring to think its going to be CB or TE at #16 if we have to stay there.
