Andrew Heaney?

With Jose Fernandez down, I went ahead and picked him up with advice from a trustworthy member on here.

Any news on this kid and when he'll be up?

I grabbed him right away where I could too. I like Heaney and think he could have a #2 though likely #3 ceiling. It sounds like he may be getting skipped over right now by Anthony DeSclafini but nothing has been made official. Either way Heaney should be up by June so it all depends on your ability to lose a roster spot.
I'm waiting for news (likely today or tomorrow) and then I'm dropping him in one league where I need the spot.

It's been really hush-hush but it sounds like he'll be promoted today.... to AAA
I went ahead and dropped him in 2 leagues with limited benches. If he does well in AAA, he could be just 3-4 starts away from a call-up to the bigs I'd guess.

Yeah I think I may drop him as well. With Gee down for me as well, hard to keep him on my roster.

hmm.. can't edit my last post. wierd...

But yeah... he isn't coming to the majors... at least not yet so sadly you have to drop him... He will be a call up come September I am sure.
