The patriots never sniff a Super Bowl and romo would have been long since been out of New England.

Or the Patriots would have won 9 Super Bowls with Romo winning 6-7 Super Bowl MVPs. Probably somewhere in the middle like what Brady did

The only stat that matters for Romo is 1-3.

He's been behind center for the cowboys since 2006. 8 years and 1 playoff win.

Terrible.

True... he has dug himself a big hole by choking in big games more than once.

That means every fuck up he has from here on out will be magnified... and he has nobody to blame but himself.

He needs to be perfect now to build up that equity again.

I can't believe somebody is trying to compare Romo and Brady. The only thing in common these two have is they both play QB and are white.

Um explain how it's not?

Really? Romo leads the offense to 48 points, but the defense gives up 51 and the loss is more on Romo than it is on the defense? That makes no sense.

I fkin KNEW when he took the field the last time that he would fk it up somehow.

KNEW IT. KNEW IT. KNEW IT.

I will reiterate...until Tony Romo leaves and Jerry Jones departs this earth, I shall buy no Dallas Cowboys merchandise or visit their stadium for a Dallas Cowboys game. I'm only one fan, but it has to start somewhere.

You can take those 500 yards/however many TD's and hang them in your ass Tony.

They are both very similarly talented QBs as well. The difference is one plays for a great all-time program, the other plays in Dallas

I don't get singling Romo out in the loss today, despite him throwing a critical interception down the stretch. That game would not have been close had Romo not been spectacular most of the game. Is there even one Dallas defender for whom anything close to the same is true? Romo gave his team far more of a chance to win than did the Dallas defense.
And lost if for them all at the same time.

500 yards, 5 TDs, 48 points, and a 140+ passer rating earns you an interception. The defense lost this game and to point the finger anywhere else is ridiculous.

Surely you're not claiming that the Dallas defense gave its team as much a chance to win the game as Romo gave them? Amazing to me that anyone could have watched that game and not seen that Romo's play helped his team far more than it hurt it. The defense, on the other hand, was absolutely defenseless.

On January 10th, 2010, the Arizona
Cardinals hosted the Green Bay Packers
and pulled out 51-45 victory in a great
quarterback duel. The two teams scored
a combined 96 points and 9
touchdowns. Kurt Warner was 29-33,
with 357 passing yards and 5
touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers was 28-42,
with 423 yards and 4 touchdowns. An
Aaron Rodgers fumble was returned for
a touchdown by Karlos Dansby in
overtime to end the game. This game
currently holds the record for the highest
scoring NFL playoff game.

Um actually it came down to this. Both defenses gave up 48 points. Romo had ball in hand to win the game and he choked, like always. It's a 60 minute game not 58. Sorry it's the cold hard facts of the situation. His pick cost his team, period.

Those numbers might earn you that right in the third quarter. But not in a tie game ball in hand game on the line in your end of the field. Sorry it just doesn't. That's why QBs get the big bucks it's for situations like that.:suds:

Same can be said for the Broncos. In those cases it comes down to QB and Romo lost it. :laugh3:

Point being? Rodgers also grossly over threw a wide open WR on the play before the fumble. He was also openly blamed for the loss and labeled a choke artist. To his credit he went out and proved the label to be wrong. Romo year after year proves the label to be fact.:suds:
