That's because fans and media just evaluate on records and what they feel the team should've done.

Nobody sees behind the scenes elements that are indicators if your coach should be fired or given another chance. I mean you have to look at if the players are still behind the coach, if the problem is more simply a tweak in staff, if you even have the right talent in the first place, and etc.
