I did explain it to you. They made unforced mistakes. Beyond that Arizona found success with the ground game in the first half, but UW adjusted the second. You can say they caught a break on the punt return, I'll say Utah caught 3 breaks that directly led to 21 of their 24 points.
I told you, they were held on third or 4th down each time, and we're given a 1st down each time because of a dumb penalty. I'm done repeating myself now. Think what you want.

Yeah I know, it was Arizona that found something in the first half, but Washington made adjustments. Yet, Arizona had 250 yards of offense and 14 points in the 1st half and 225 yards in the 2nd and 14 points.
Or it was Washington making mistakes and Arizona capitalizing on them -- yet Arizona is the one who had 3 turnovers, including a drive they went 86 yards and didn't score, while Washington had 1 turnover.
I realize Washington fans are beyond excited -- Michigan fans are in the same boat. It is humorous listening to the excuses though. Just be happy the Pac-12 is a disaster right now and Washington is the best of lot.

They simply made too many self inflicted errors to come out by the margin they should have. That happens in college all the time. It's not easy to win on the road. How many top 10 teams have fallen on the road this year? And some top flight programs along the way. Ask Ohio State what playing on the road and making mistakes does to you.
The others are right. Reading a box score does nothing to tell you how a team really played. This is why we have a committee to decide the rankings to begin with. You have to see how the teams played to understand the outcomes. That's football 101 really.
