Washington has played like an elite team this season(top 4), despite the schedule being fairly easy up to this point. If you want to not include them in the top 4 because they've played an easy schedule, that's fine, but they've performed like a top 4 team this season.

Also, there's a big difference in how Iowa was performing last year and how Washington has performed this year. Iowa never performed during the year like a top 4 team.

this is accurate. Washington is 3rd in margin of victory (30.5).. So the schedule is bad, but they are beating these teams like a playoff contender. it is not like they are undefeated with a bunch of tight games.

I am a UM fan, but I'm also a CFB fan, who can separate between the two.

I'm not saying UM has the best CB duo in the country. All I did was point out that Washington doesn't even have better CB's than the person you were responding to.

It is also why you don't see me saying UM has the best defense in the country, even though they rank nationally:
1st in total defense
1st in scoring defense
1st in passing defense
1st in 3rd down defense
1st in red zone defense
1st in 1st downs allowed

The best defense in the country is Alabama.
