This still doesn't change the fact that they'll be 10-2 playing in the 2nd toughest conference in the country, and they'll very possibly have the highest-ranked win of any team in the nation. That is the resume of a top 10 team, in any season.No, but their SOS should be punished. That cuts both ways. Some teams schedules get more difficult as the season progresses, some get easier. Hocutt said committee members liked and rewarded the SOSs TO THIS POINT of many teams as the reason for their rankings higher than others. (A&M for sure). If they are crediting them having a good SOS early in their schedule, they should punish them for having a bad one later in the schedule. Can't have it both ways. Let me rephrase that, you shouldn't be able to have it both ways. The committee seems to change criteria emphasis frequently.
