I was actually wrong. I thought if the Vikings won, it would have to be on the shoulders of Adrian Peterson. I thought he had to run them out of the stadium. That was not the case. I'm sure Skin fans would have rather they lost this game because of all that is AP, not the way they lost. They face an average quarterback like Ponder without them having two starting lineman and he dusts them. Even leading them back from a 13-point deficit. And I watched that entire game. You have to be disgusted as a Skin fan to watch that defense tonight. There were receivers wide open, no-name receivers at that. If there was one guy that you thought would get going, it was Greg Jennings, and he basically did nothing. It was no-names that got open. If that wasn't enough, Ponder got hurt, which gave Washington even more hope, but Cassell still manages to make a couple of nice throws on a key drive to help them go up 7 that also burned a lot of clock. I know Washington fans have to feel exactly like Cowboy fans feel after that defensive performance.

But if there is one thing I'm glad about with this D, they force big turnovers that lead to TDs. That's about the only difference between our Ds at the moment. Oh and we are above .500 right now. :suds:

I was one that thought teh Skins could mount a run at us. Someone is, guess maybe it is the Giants.

I've told you guys for weeks that even with their horrible start, the Giants are the team to worry about. The good news about that is there is no way the Giants get to 9 wins and the odds are against 8 as well. I stand by my comment that 8-8 would get us in the playoffs.

Does anyone remember exactly when then Skins were going to be tied with Dallas? Maybe Misty can enlighten us.

Oh yeah, wasn't there a bet made about when the Skins would be sitting higher in the standing than Dallas...wasn't it by the second meeting? If we go 1-4 and they go 4-1, it could still happen...I guess

Winning this weekend would give us a hell of a shot at eight wins by the end of the Thanksgiving game. But we know our Cowboys never make it this easy. I'm still pissed off about that Lions game.

Eagles get a gifted bullshit game against Packers 3rd string quarterback. A game that they would have easily lost against Rodgers turns into an easy win for the Eagles. And we all know Rodgers gonna be fully healthy when we play them. I mean just look at all the Saints players. They had many question marks and of course everybody is fucking playing. It's shit like this that might cost the Cowboys the division.

Lucky break for the Eagles, but I can't complain about the WHEN team play each other. it's part of the game nothing else.

We never seem to get these breaks. That's why I'm complaining. I can't even remember the last time we faced a team without their superstar quarterback due to injury.

I agree we never seem to catch breaks, but it's not like the NFL and the Packers conspired against us. It is what it is. By the way I'm not saying you have no right to complain, just that I won't.

Never know what's going to happen UK. That was a lot of injuries in critical places for you all. What the heck is up with all the hammy injuries? Weird. Really sorry about Lee. The NFL just continues to surprise, every week. All I've got to say about that game is 'wow' and 'ouch'. Didn't expect that at all. It was like the team just gave up and lay down. Helps the skins tho, so I'll take it.

I actually think that comes close to "the game of the century" skins vs eagles 2010. At least it wasn't to a damn division rival.

This is not a trolling question, I'm really interested in what Cowboys' fan think. Do you folks blame Jerry Jones at all for the mediocrity that the Cowboys have been mired in since 1996?

Since he is the one constant I say yes. However I disagree with those who say Dallas CANNOT win a SB again with him.

The ones that do, are what makes today's Cowboy fans so very special. They need to kiss the ground Jerry walks on IMO. Because without Jerry, the Cowboys might be looking for their next Super Bowl win since 77'... instead of 97'.
