Yes I realize there is a draft thread but this is so amazing I felt it should have a thread.

Oh my. RT @RookieDraft Alshon Jeffery is training at St Vincents here in Indy. Sources say he's weighing 249lbs + running a 4.88 Forty

Way overrated; he'll be another SCar WR bust.

In other words, Staley and possibly Ice could whip his ass in a 40 and have already shown the hands to do Jeffrey's position, nuff said. Next.

Wow. I said "think Dwayne Jarrett," but maybe I should've said "think Ron Johnson."

The worst part is that he LOOKS softer at 249 then Staley does at 310. Jeffrey is essentially the michelin man running routes.

By the way I don't mean Ronald Johnson I mean Ron Johnson of the 2002 draft variety.

Who was it that absolutely LOVED that guy back on the old forum? I forget who, but it was a regular. Mex maybe?

Well, damn... that guy needs to slim down quick and maintain it at a WR weight level....

I was one to root for his selection but obviously if he's looking like that, TE may be his future....

Delanie 2.0? Sh*t, isn't Walker faster too?

Walker was a high-4.4, 4.5 40...much faster, much shorter, weigh the same.

That report has been debunked. Jeffery's been in Tampa for the last five weeks.

Hopefully he went to that training facility long ago and those measurements are from then otherwise I don't see him putting much of a dent in that gut in 10 days for the combine. He needs to skip the combine and just have a Pro Day. Could save him millions.

He might have shut him down some plays put Alshon roasted him deep for a TD and Dennard whiffed on two ankle tackle attempts.

Jeffery has run the 40-yard dash in the mid 4.4’s and is projected to run between a 4.45 and a 4.65 at the NFL scouting combine.

Ummmmm...that's a pretty wide range. That's just the difference between a late first-rounder and undrafted.
