Almonte isn't much younger than they are.

I don't think Almonte has an infinite amount of time to figure it out either. He doesn't curve his strikeouts this year in the Minors, he might not ever make it back.

Ya, still referring to look on the field with high socks and choppy style of play. I am not all that worried about his age. Most players of average talent don't mature until mid to late 20's anyways. Whether he has the skill level to succeed, well we shall find out. I see him as a younger Chavez more than anything.

I'm not worried about his age either. It just means he has a shorter window to reach his potential.

Hopefully he makes it on base more then Chavez. Either way it's pretty good for a 4th round pick
