Kings open the season on October 7th at home against San Jose. Full schedule will be out tomorrow. I remember reading on mayorsmanor (At times he's legit but he is very much click-bait as well) that LA starts the season with a long home stand.

It's one of the stupid awards shows, not sure which, that happens in February that sends the Kings on the long road trip. I would prefer longer home stands at the end of the season than the beginning.

combine that with the Lakers & Clippers not playing games until the end of October, it's always going to be a home heavy start for the Kings.

Won't matter where they start if these morons don't take games seriously to start the season. Hope last season was a valuable lesson learned.

Couldn't agree more, slow starts coupled with December/January slumps=8th seed or missing the PO outright. That mindset needs to change.

They started last year 6-1-1. It was their crappy yearly Dec-Jan slump that killed them.

Toffoli signed a 2 year contract this morning. 6.5 million so the caphit is only 3.25 those two years. I'm impressed they got a bridge deal done. Great contract in my opinion

San Jose signed him for $3 mil a year for 3 years. :L

Saw that, are they nucking futs? Dude played great in LA when they had their usual stellar D in 2013-14 and showed his true form last year when he didn't have the help.

He certainly won't have the help in SJ and honestly I have never seen number one potential in him like we did with Bernier.

Enjoy paying $3 million a season for essentially a 1B goalie.

Sekera and Green both get new deals at $6M. That might be the asking price for any D-man
