I missed this part. Where did you see it? To me it makes the most sense to do this. They're still a young company and it would be putting a lot of stress on them to do two live shows a week. Just show Dark and add in some of the content they use on the Road To series they have on Youtube.

Agreed. If they want to have Brandy accompany Kong to the ring, that'd be fine but this group a a whole just does nothing for me. If I was at an AEW show and saw that it was their segment, that's when I'd go to the concession stands or to the bathroom.
It definitely seemed like this match was put together at the last minute because none of the four really looked like they were on the same page at all.
As for The Dark Order segment, I'm guessing they're going to pretend that it wasn't Cutler in the mask during the beatdown? Because otherwise, they'd look like even bigger goofs if none of them realized that he was already there.

My guess would be that maybe the Bucks will beat Kenny and Page at Revolution and that'll finally be the thing that causes Page to fully snap and turn heel.

I thought about it during the match tonight and it maybe because they want to do more with Scorpio Sky as a singles competitor. SCU can win the belts back later on with Kaz and CD, but there's potential there with Sky to do more. They could use a good baby face in the singles scene. Right now you've got Kenny, but that's kind of it. Mox isn't a traditional face and Cody because of that (stupid) stipulation, can't be apart of the AEW title scene.

For faces, they've been trying hard to also build Darby Allin but I think he probably needs a bit more time. I think if Jeff Hardy left whenever his contract's up, that'd be a great feud for him. Janella I think will be stuck in the midcard for the foreseeable future.
But I like how they're building the subtle turn for Page and he would have every right since he's always been treated as an afterthought. After tonight, I'm thinking that the Bucks face them and beat them at Revolution. Then on Dynamite the following Wednesday, Kenny has his match with Pac and Page will cost him the match, either on purpose or inadvertently. That'll be the final straw and Page will complete his turn and he'll feud with Kenny. When that ends, I think that he'll become Spears' partner that he's been looking for, someone that's not going to care about the spotlight and they'll jump to the top of the tag division. I guess if they wanted to even out the face/heel dynamic of the tag division if that happens, they can always have the Lucha Bros officially become faces since they get massive pops every week anyways.

Since I know DefConn was disappointed in the scalping problem on the early shows here's an update...

The presale to the Prudential Center show had one of the most thorough vetting processes I've encountered to prevent scalping. In order to even get on the ticket page you needed a code sent via text message to your phone number on file as verification. Also that only authorized one page view. You needed a code anytime you wanted to access the page. It completely prevents bots or mass scalping issues.
