Hard to say because this hasn't been done before....

No one knows. Which is the point I guess. You don't know if its all a planned story or if there's a very real issue here and TK/MJF just decided to "work the shoot" until MJF is released from his contract at some point.

Hot show from start to finish. That Mox/Garcia match was excellent. Daniel Garcia is gonna be a star one day and soon.

A bit surprised Tanahashi is Punk's FD opponent. I never expected Okada (he ain't taking a loss) but KENTA seemed obvious.

A couple of things I didn’t like about the MJF promo. One, he went out on a stretcher on Sunday but now was fine just hurt a little bit. They should've milked that for at least a couple of weeks. Two, it sounded a little bit like he was going into the Vince Russo territory of “what I did previously was fake but this is real” type style that I’m not a fan of.
I figured Tanahashi was going to be Punk’s opponent. Probably the highest profile guy there in New Japan that could take a loss.
I really wish they had taken the tag belts off JE and put them on Team Taz. I have no desire to see JE and the Bucks having a feud and the Bucks likely winning them. At least with Team Taz, you could put them in a feud with FTR and get some really good matches out of the deal.

I agree with this. I thought the delivery of the promo was brilliant but it just creates too many issues with booking a coherent storyline around it. I'm intrigued to see where it goes next so that's a positive sign.
