Those who have said you trade him for a first, we say this because we believe RBs are made by scheme usually and can be replaced reasonably easy.
I think Morris is great in this scheme but would flounder elsewhere. I think he would flounder without the threat of RG3.
My question is this...let's say you don't trade him at any point, do you resign him at 8 million/year because that's what it will cost...at a minimum.
How do you know far as the 8 mill minimum? But lets say that's the number for argument's sake. I guess I'd go over his entire body of work as a Redskin the last 4 years and if his production put him in the same category as 8 million dollar a year RBs. And if I felt reasonably sure said production would continue for a another 4-5 years. Sure I'd pay him.
I got a feeling though the Alf haters will get their wish though as I think Gruden is a Alf hater as well.
