Just for the record because this was a hotly and inaccurately (inaccurate by many yet again) debated topic earlier. Smith is NOT suspended and the 49ers have NOT used the word suspension for what should be obvious reasons. It's beyond ridiculous that some writers and fans in other places are already calling this a suspension. Incorrect.

Thanks for setting all the speculators straight. There seems to be a lot of speculation on this board right now.

It just drives me crazy when fans have inexcusable errors in any format. I can get a little heated when I see some of a certain tone. I get even more angry when I see them from paid sports writers because it's their job and it's not unfair to expect them to get something small correct. No offense to anybody if I sounded heated, which I was, when I said that. It just irks me like crazy when I see stuff like that passed around.

I get this way even with teams I don't care about either.

Cam wasn't even suited in his rookie year, which I thought he was hurt or put on p-squad... this offseason, he played very well at OLB during the preseason and showed something at pass rush... for depth, he looked good.

He was traded before wk 1 for a 7th rd pick. what is there to say...
