What are you going to do, try not to win?

I do think there's some merit in not going to Kluber on short rest. On the other hand, you're potentially taxing the bullpen to its limits if you go for another bullpen game.

Kluber. Next man up.

That would make for a really long layoff between series.

You noticed the Indians rotation? It's incredible they are 6-0 right now

The more rest for Kluber and that BP the better.

The offense isn't exactly scorching hot so the rest would ruin much "rythmn" either.

Wrap it up as soon as possible.

I missed the fireworks. What happened?

What I can piece together is that Bauer's finger started to bleed, so the umps booted him? Is that accurate? The national radio guys were saying something to the effect of the Jays forced the umps hand on the ejection??

Not sure I have any of this accurate. I wasnt listening that closely...
I just watched the bottom of the first.

Wow, that thing was a faucet. The national radio guys were quite douchey fir even implying that Gibbons did anything wrong there. Bauer needed to be taken out of that game. No question about it.

Cleveland fans are gonna see their sports teams win an NBA title and make it to(possibly win) a WS in the same year? Talk about spoiling the fan base.

Andrew Miller.

just wow....he is unbelievable. What a deadline deal. Trade a top 20 prospect in the big leagues for a reliever--- deifnitely risky when it happened- but no doubt anyone would do that deal over again in a second.

Miller has been truly unbelievable. He is so freaking good. He is just dominating right now.

That HAS to get into hitters heads- if you are down and its around the 6th inning or so- you have to know that Miller is looming- and it appears to be making the Jays press at times.

I thought Bautistas whining actually did him some good as I think the Blue Jays got some good calls on pitches tonight at a few points- but just couldnt capitalize against the Tribe throwing a BULLPEN GAME in a league championship series. That walk to Bautista late in the game was kinda bullshit i thought too. But whatever- Tribe is on the verge of a World Series for the first time in a long time.

Lets hope Kluber can finish it off tonight and this team can get some rest. I wonder if Bauer or Salazar could be avaliable in a POTENTIAL world series.

This thing is looking really really good for the Tribe but i cant say its over. Kluber has NEVER pitched on short rest. If the Jays can win tonight- they face Ryan Merrit- a lefty rookie, in Game 5- and that Jays lineup is awfully right handed and matches up well vs. Merrit.

It would be hard for me to believe this Indians team with such a great manager and bullpen would/could lose 4 in a row after never having done it all season- but it is the playoffs- and things can turn on a dime.

lets hope they finish it off tonight and Kluber pitches a great game and everyone can rest and watch a LONG NLCS.

I do have to say- so much credit to the Tribe and its pitching staff.

Toronto was red-hot to end the regular season- and then trashed the Rangers pitching.....now? 3 runs in 3 games? that is crazy. To hold that offense- which had been scorching the last couple weeks- to 3 runs in 3 games is just insane. Yo can really see that Toronto just does not like the tribe throwing so much breaking stuff. Seems like a good way to go after them- not giving them the fastball- and throwing the curve and sliders for strikes.

Can we get a pro football team in Toronto?

It would be awesome if the Browns could someday make the Super Bowl- and without a Toronto team to face in the league championship game- i just dont know if a Cleveland team could pull it off.....

"circumstances"" pshh....cmon Jose.....what a clown....

Same story with the Jays all season - bats go from fire to flat in an instant.

Congrats Slinky, Wiggy etc. So much for an exciting series, Cleveland was in control from the get-go.
