Oh come on. Assuming you are watching the same feed I am, they showed the jays fans standing and clapping for him like they would with any other injured player leaving the field. He even tipped his cap just before going in the dugout. No doubt there were some idiots cheering inappropriately but most were acknowledging his effort and injury.

I'm going to take your word for this because I like to think the best of people. Even Canadians.
