What I can piece together is that Bauer's finger started to bleed, so the umps booted him? Is that accurate? The national radio guys were saying something to the effect of the Jays forced the umps hand on the ejection??

I hadnt been following the AL very closely, so no, I was not aware.

Sounds like a Jeremy Affeldt move there. The dude was constantly getting put on the DL with the Gs because of stupid shit he did around the house. Never during the playoffs, though.

Oh come on. Assuming you are watching the same feed I am, they showed the jays fans standing and clapping for him like they would with any other injured player leaving the field. He even tipped his cap just before going in the dugout. No doubt there were some idiots cheering inappropriately but most were acknowledging his effort and injury.
