look as far as i am concerened he signed a contract to play football and he stole the money they gave him

i would be on AH's side if he gave the 21 mil back . and they cut him loose

to , me and i am not a shanny fan he did the right thing

i think DMAC now has more of a case

Bottom line, you were signed to play football at a hefty sum. If the coach decides you would make a better full back than DL, you shut up and play. As long as the coach doesnt intentionally try and put you in positions to end your career, you do what the coach says and STFU. That goes for every player on the team. Haynesworth, McNabb and any one else bitching about the coaches should have simply given the money back and asked to be released or traded if they felt soooo slighted.

Exactly... Know your role and shut your hole. Haynesworth is as bad a prima Donna as any WR out there.

Dude got straight paid at the time... an epic contract, albeit a terrible one for the Skins.

One good thing may have came out of that... Danny Boy learned a little lesson.

That's all fine and well but the league knew what AH was all about when he was a FA. He was all about himself and his perceived impact he had of himself. Danny made sure there were no other bidders right outta the F Agency gate. Danny felt the need to land a star...ala jerry jones and it made the roy Williams signing not look as bad.

least that's how I remember it

I also don't think many teams valued McNabb like Washington after his last seasons in philly

Shanny and Haynesworth is the reaction you get when you throw a match into a 5 gallon barrel of gasoline and then spend a year in the burn center wondering what happened! Your Redneck buddies were all laughing and drinking beer until they had to put out the fire and drag you to the hospital. Then they told everybody that they warned you not to do it.

Both took the money and underperformed for different reasons. I always thought Haynesworth was a good football player until he cleat stomped Gurode. That should have cost him a year suspension from Herr Goodell but he got off light and my opinion changed to him being a dirtbag which he proved in Washington.

We get it. Well placed jab.

Snyder was an idiot, so was Cerrato, but it's done and those decisions don't appear to be occurring at present.

The similarity to Jerry's continued idiocy is no longer as viable as it used to be.

Hopefully the days of interference from Snyder in football decisions are over or at least vastly reduced. It is a real possibility with Snyder.

The same can't be said for Jerrah and his self delusion as a 'football guy' in Dallas...

Amen. He can take that 40 + million dollars he stole from Snyder (not that I care about dummy Danny) and go waste it somewhere. :bullshit:

Yep. Just want to close the page on that disaster of a chapter for this franchise...:gaah:
