Here's the official Alabama vs. Ole Miss game thread (without the inflammatory opening post of another thread of the same name).

Think Bama will be severely tested today - hope the Tide can hold!

Something that keeps bugging me about the talking heads is how they keep using Bama's game against CSU as an example of some lurking weakness in our team, instead of just admitting that maybe Saban was trying to be nice and not stomp a hole into an old associate. - Anytime any person calling plays, unless theyre a 5 year old playing Madden, decides to call the same exact play 5 times in a row with a telegraphed formation and smile across the field some shit is up.

Its more than that though. TAMU scored against Bama's defense nearly at-will, and Bama's game against the Hokies exposed some weaknesses. Saban has reason to be uncomfortable at this point, as he has stated - and so do Bama fans. Think today we'll find out more about what this season's Bama team is made of.

I dont know if Ole Miss offense is as fast as oregon, but some are saying its pretty fast. I havent watched them play much this yr.

This is definitely still a developing team, but so far this season I'd say they're more than on schedule in that development. Each game Ive seen something that worried me, but I must admit in every following game it has seemed like these things were addressed and in a lot of instances completely fixed.

Now I want to see our defense play a mean game, I hope we see that this evening.

The team is going to play well today. We return a lot of guys from injury and they have all looked very good since we had that team meeting after the Col St. game. The seniors got on their ass, let them know it's time to play Alabama football.

Belue, Cooper, Steen, Norwood......all these guys are back for this came and ready to play some football. Also, Coach Cochran has repeatedly reminded our guys of the comments from Wallace and their WR about how they could put points on us. They are good and pissed and ready to play.

Two predictions;

Everyone has said look out for Ole Miss. when Bama crushes them they will become an overrated team.
In the OU=ND game thread OU fans are just dogging their team but after they win OU will be the greatest team in the country! Any takers?
