Alabama vs A&M Pulls a 9.0

The Alabama vs Texas A&M game pulled 9.0 rating this past saturday which was the highest rating since the 1990 Miami vs ND (10.01) 23 years ago. However what is most interesting is that the second highest rating in the country for the game was Austin Texas.

It's nice to know that Texas still cares for its sister school and the SEC is very excited about all the folks in Austin who will be picking up the SEC Network once it rolls out.

On a special note I would like to think the posters that gave us updates on the Texas vs Ole Miss game since even the bars in SEC country won't broadcast the LHN.

That game had a high rating because it promised to be a great game.....and it was. Manziel is such an exciting quarterback, chances are his presence will make for good ratings regardless of who TAM plays.

This is all too true, he is dynamic and exciting....and lucky and foolish. I have not doen the research, but I would bet he had close to 200 yards in that game due to DB's not turning their heads, or blind luck that his receivers came down with the ball. His lob style would get most QB's pulled, but yet he continues to play because he is the exalted one. He is going to have some high interception numbers if he continues to play that style of ball.

Bama's DB's are pretty bad. Thank goodness your team only has 1 more tough game this season and doesn't play anymore explosive offenses.....
