I predict that within a week, the owner of the gun will say that he/she lent it to the guy, so the felony will disappear. Somehow it will work out that he can suit up against USC, but will have to sit for Western Kentucky.

At that point, he will have "served his time" and be good to go for the rest of the season.

Everything past the part where the felony goes away. I give that 50/50 at worst.

I doubt the felony stays based on what I read.

If he stays on the team and is suspended, it will be for the USC game minimum. It would be more likely he wasn't suspended at all rather than playing USC and then serving against a cupcake.

If it wasn't his first offense he'd already be off the team.

If there is a felony charge, he will get kicked off. 1st time misdemeanor is a bit different though.

Outside the stolen gun part, I don't give a shit about the rest to be honest. Have to wait and see what the story on the gun is though.
