he's 27 and has had 927 PA with an OPS+ of 86. 75 OPS+ over his last 445 PA. Looks to me like your classic "AAAA hitter who sucks in the majors."

agreed. Not much anyone can do when there's little outside of Trout/Ohtani/Walsh and Rendon's hurt. It's a lot of AAA scrubs.

The A's didn't get as much for Montas as the Reds did for Castillo.

honestly didn't realize he didn't reach the majors until he was 27, but didn't really get significant playing time until he was 29. Pretty impressive that he was able to put together a 10 season career. Made 2 All-Star games as well.

He had this really unique gait coming out of the batter box when he would homer. He looked like Fred Flintstone powering up his Flintstone-mobile. I doubt he ever once stood back to just admire one.

this is a HELLUVA rookie class in the American league.

Kirby might not even finish top 3 and he has been phenomenal.

Julio Rodriguez
Adley Rutschman
Steven Kwan
George Kirby
Jeremy Pena
Bobby Witt Jr.
Jose Miranda
Vinnie Pasquantino
Joe Ryan

a lot of guys that are gonna be around a long time.

My boy Kwan might finish 4th even though he is going to win a Gold Glove, has a 4.3 WAR (48th in baseball according to FanGraphs), .301 avg., .375 obp, 19 SB, 6 HR, 51 RBI's, 88 runs. ESPN WAR rankings have Kwan tied for 22......they have Andres Gimenez at 6th- another Gold Glove favorite
